HAWK™ Smart Carts and Fulfillment Modules
In most piece-picking operations, labor accounts for the highest costs. Pickers spend the majority of their time performing two tasks:
- Moving between locations where they have items to pick.
- Completing picking transactions at locations where they have items to pick.
Smart carts have been developed to help pickers complete these tasks in more efficient ways when the items are small enough to be manually picked. Smart carts reduce the required walking between picks and help pickers to complete the picking transactions in shorter times.
