VARGO™ Names Carver Vice President of Sales

COLUMBUS, Ohio—VARGO™ Companies, a leading provider of integration, software and equipment solutions for major fulfillment and distribution operations, is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert D. Carver, Jr. to the position of Vice President.

Carver is responsible for business development of the VARGO™ Adaptive Software suite of solutions for the material handling industry.

Before joining VARGO™, Carver was the Vice President of Logistics Software with HK Systems, Inc. where he was responsible for North American WMS, TMS and RFID business development and solutions design. Prior to his post at HK Systems, Bob was with RedPrairie (formerly LIS), as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Previous to RedPrairie, Carver held the role of National Sales Manager of AIDC for the Brady Corporation; as well as regional, national, and director level sales positions in a previous stint with HK Systems’ WMS group.

Carver brings to VARGO™ proven sales and marketing experience in broad and diverse business segments in the information technology and supply chain/logistics industries.

Carver is a Marquette University alumni with a BS in Electrical Engineering, emphasis in Computer Science.
