Vice President of Sales, VARGO™ Material Handling

As vice president of sales of VARGO™ Material Handling, Julie Vargo Blanks is responsible for managing VARGO™’s outside sales department and maintaining the company’s key business relationships, as well as contributing to new business development.

In addition to her role as vice president, Blanks serves on VARGO™’s board of directors and is a liaison to the integrated sourcing team of the company’s allied products company, VARGO™ Material Handling.

She began working at VARGO™ in her high school years and provided sales department assistance throughout college, then moving to the company’s accounting department in the 1970s. In 1996, Blanks opened a satellite office for VARGO™ in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She returned to Columbus, Ohio, in 2000, to manage one of the company’s sales territories before taking on her current role as vice president of sales.

Blanks has several years experience in the material handling industry and in corporate sales. She owned a material handling company named Material Handling Systems of Georgia in Atlanta, Georgia, in the mid-1980s and worked in a sales position for Speedrack Midwest, a material handling company, specializing in rack and shelving.

Blanks attended The Ohio State University and Ohio Dominican University.
